FOR THOSE WHO HAVE JUST RECEIVED A DIAGNOSIS

Dying is a sacred transition that deserves gentle attention, like birth. For those with serious or terminal diagnoses, there’s a vital window to shape your last days; reclaim your voice, protect boundaries, and define true comfort for your body, heart, and mind. You decide who enters your space, what fills the silence, and what eases your spirit. If you need someone to sit with you during these decisions without panic, pity, or pretense, I am here to advocate.

My practice is also for those in palliative or ongoing treatment contemplating planning; you don’t need a prognosis of six months or less, or to have stopped curative treatment. Values conversations, advance directives, or POLST forms are acts of self-determination at any stage, alongside any treatment. Whether grappling with a new diagnosis, in treatment, or supporting a loved one, planning ahead is an act of sovereignty. You’re welcome here.

BRIDGING THE GAP IN MODERN CARE

01
The Planning Gap

Many families feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of decisions to make, often without knowing what their options truly are.

I provide the education and advocacy needed to clarify your wishes and ensure your voice is heard by your medical team.

02
The Presence Gap

Clinical teams are often intermittent by design, leaving long stretches of time where the dying person and their family are left without a grounded companion.

I offer a steady, experienced presence at the bedside, maintaining a peaceful environment and providing emotional anchor points for the family.

03
The Meaning-Making Gap

Spiritual suffering and the need for ritual often fall outside the scope of medical care, leaving deep emotional and soul-level needs unaddressed.

Through shamanic healing, energy work, and holistic grief support, I help you process the "unseen" aspects of transition and honor the wisdom your soul carries.

Hi, I’m Allison

I work with people facing death, sitting with dying loved ones, or carrying grief that has no name yet. I also offer core shamanic healing to those navigating loss, illness, or spiritual disconnection.

My work is grounded in the belief that dying is a natural and sacred process and that both medicine and meaning-making have a place wherever death occurs. My hope is that by creating a personalized death care plan, witnessing the process, and speaking openly and honestly about mortality, each person can come closer to peace with mortality rather than fear it. In my practice, both life and death are natural processes and cycles that hold equal humbling value, making a thoughtful death care plan as essential as a birth care plan. I am not here to change your experience but to bring you normalcy, advocacy, and genuine comfort.

MY CORE PHILOSOPHY

Support begins with being genuinely seen and feeling comfortable. I hold an unhurried, judgment-free space where your full experience is honored. I offer practical and spiritual support, a grounded presence, ancestral wisdom, and deep respect for your autonomy.

My practice integrates end-of-life care, core shamanic practice, Healing Touch, and holistic grief support, honoring the wisdom your body and soul already hold. My support is non-medical and designed to complement your clinical team, not replace it.

MY APPROACH

Outline drawing of a tree with circular tree rings in place of foliage, with some debris or dirt at the base.

You set the pace and define what support means to you. I follow your lead and hold space for genuine expression, and center your choices and wishes in everything we do together.

Grounded Autonomy

Silhouette of two birds perched on a branch with a black background.

My work sits alongside your medical team, not apart from it. Across end-of-life planning, bedside vigil support, and core shamanic healing, I bring an unhurried presence, comfort for you and your loved ones, and support that honors your wishes at every step.

Collaborative Companioning
